Local K-12 Teachers

Your support continues to provide professional development opportunities for local K-12 educators. Now in its second year, the Flathead Watershed Through The Seasons workshop is made possible by your generous donations and through a special collaboration with organizations and agencies around the Flathead Valley. Keep reading to learn more about the program and the recent winter session in Glacier National Park.

Historical Nature Notes from Glacier
In the late 1920s and 30s, Glacier published a a series of newsletters including original essays, wildlife observations, and assorted musings by park staff. Thanks to your support, these newsletters have been digitized and are available for the first time on the Montana Memory Project.

Calling all birders & wildlife enthusiasts: we need your help! Dr. Taza Schaming is seeking help in locating Clark’s Nutcracker nests for the Nutcracker Ecosystem Project and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology Clark's Nutcracker/Whitebark Pine Ecosystem initiative.
