Ask your Congressional representative to sign on to a letter to President Biden from Representatives Khanna and DeFazio asking him to clarify what he meant by ending all “offensive” support for the war on Yemen!  <[link removed]>

Dear John,

A few weeks ago President Biden announced the end to all US “offensive” support for the war on Yemen. That was a huge win after years of advocacy, but we can’t stop here. We still need clarification. What does ending “offensive support” really mean? What arms sales to the Saudi-UAE-led coalition are still in play? Will an end to the blockade on Yemen come soon? Will the US stop the transfer of spare parts to the Saudi Air Force?

There’s now an opportunity to answer those questions and remind the Biden Administration that we’re still here and still paying attention! Representatives Ro Khanna and Peter DeFazio wrote a letter to President Biden asking critical clarifying questions. Ask your representative to sign on to this letter to get answers about US support for the war on Yemen! <[link removed]>

After almost six years of war, members of Congress, peace activists, and the world deserve to know what ending all “offensive” support for the war on Yemen actually means. Our demands have always been clear: we need to end ALL US support for the war, not just some of it.

In the letter to President Biden, Representatives Khanna and DeFazio ask important clarifying questions. Once we get answers to our questions about what ending “offensive” support means, we can take concrete action to ensure we end ALL US support for the Saudi-led war on Yemen! Ask your House member to sign on to the Khanna-DeFazio letter and help us get the answers we need! <[link removed]>

What we find out will help us plan our next steps. The Biden Administration needs to be transparent with the American people and Congress about what our government is doing to continue support for the war on Yemen. From there, we can demand a true end to the war, including ending weapons sales to Saudi Arabia and the UAE!
