2020 and COVID-19 made it clear that state elections matter. As you may have heard, we Democrats will have a primary on June 8th to decide which of our accomplished candidates will run for state governor.
Choosing who to vote for in a primary election can be challenging. Sometimes, it’s hard to feel like you know enough about the candidates to make a good decision.
The Young Democrats chapters of Northern Virginia want to help make things easier. We’ve teamed up to bring the gubernatorial candidates to you.
Join us virtually on February 25th at 5 pm for our first forum conversation with former Delegate Jennifer Carroll Foy.
Carroll Foy represented Virginia’s 2nd House of Delegates district from 2018 to 2020, when she resigned to focus on her gubernatorial campaign. If elected, she would be the first female Governor of Virginia and the first African American female governor elected in the United States.
This conversation promises to be a good one, but space on our Zoom account is limited.
