Hi there,

For years, Republicans set the stage for the racist mob's attack on the Capitol on January 6. Despite electing the most diverse Congress in our nation's history, along with the first Black and Asian vice president, we are not suddenly free of our country's legacy of racism.

Rep. Ayanna Pressley recently spoke on CNN, stating, "One of the images that I'm haunted by is the Black custodial staff cleaning up the mess left by that violent White supremacist mob [on January 6] … That is a metaphor for America. We have been cleaning up after violent, White supremacist mobs for generations and it must end."

Rep. Pressley continued, "As a Black woman, to be barricaded in my office, using office furniture and water bottles on the ground in the dark that terror, those moments of terror, is familiar in a deep and ancestral way for me."

We MUST move forward to a future that prioritizes communities that have been neglected for decades. As these critical conversations continue, we need to hear from you:

Do you condemn white supremacist violence?
