Fracking is a key contributor to our climate emergency. It is destroying our communities, our health, and our environment. In order to stop the worst effects of the climate crisis, we must stop fracking.
That's why Senator Bernie Sanders and Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez introduced the Fracking Ban Act, which would ban fracking nationwide by 2025. This new legislation will immediately prevent federal permits from being issued for new fracking, new pipelines, new natural gas or oil export terminals, expanded fracking, and other oil and gas infrastructure.
