John,

Governor Holcomb just signed the first bill of this legislative session.

As Indiana continues to come back from the height of the pandemic, Hoosiers
are voicing their concerns about the threat of baseless lawsuits if someone is
exposed to COVID-19 on their property or during an activity they organized.

Governor Holcomb made these concerns a priority –– and that’s why he put his
signature on a bill that will PROTECT businesses, organizations, and individual
Hoosiers from frivolous COVID-related lawsuits.

COVID Liability Protections for Hoosiers

John, small businesses have already sacrificed enough over the past year to
keep Indiana moving forward against all odds.

Many of those sacrifices are irreversible –– lost time, lost money, and lost
opportunities –– and it’s critical that Hoosiers are protected from nuisance
lawsuits on top of what they’ve already given up.

With Governor Holcomb’s signing these liability protections into law,
Indiana’s economy will take another step forward.

Hoosiers will have the peace of mind to open their doors and serve their
communities without having to worry about the threat of being sued for reasons
outside of their control.

Will you add your name to show the Governor that you support these protections?
