It had been a day full of laughter, songs, and skits as the Prison Fellowship Hope Event™ began to wind down. This had brought family members into Denver Women’s Correctional Facility (DWCF) to spend some time with their incarcerated loved ones.
As a Prison Fellowship® staff member and a Department of Corrections chaplain at DWCF, I served in a variety of capacities that day.
I approached two women—a prisoner and her guest—as they sat at a table chatting.
