LAST CALL: WIIS-DC Event Coordinator!
APPLICATION DUE TOMORROW - DECEMBER 7
Are you interested in getting involved with WIIS-DC? Do you want to support women’s leadership in the international security field? Apply to serve as an event coordinator on the WIIS-DC board!
WIIS-DC is seeking an event coordinator to lead two established series: “Navigating Your Career” and “Embassy After Hours.” Candidates should be passionate about the WIIS-DC mission, possess strong organizational abilities, and enjoy collaborating within a small team. Previous experience planning events preferred.
Given the range of activities that the WIIS-DC chapter supports, applicants should expect a time commitment of approximately five hours per week.
How to Apply
To apply, please send a completed application to [email protected] with “WIIS-DC Event Coordinator Application” in the title by Friday, December 7th. We will confirm receipt.
A completed application will consist of the following items:
-A 2-page resume
-A 250-word statement that proposes an event in either the Navigating Your Career or Embassy After Hours series and details your plan for executing it
-A 100-word statement that explains why you are applying for the position

Please note: non-US citizens are welcome to apply but the selected event coordinator must reside in the Washington, D.C. area. The position is unpaid and both men and women are encouraged to apply.
