Montana Attorney General announces partnership to fight human trafficking
Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen announced that the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Montana Association of Chiefs of Police (MACOP) are partnering with the Montana Beer and Wine Distributors Association (MBWDA) to fight human trafficking through the Sentinel Project. "MBWDA's drivers, merchandisers, and salespeople are the boots on the ground in our communities, day in and day out. Their efforts to identify and report signs of human trafficking will aid law enforcement tremendously in this fight," said Knudsen in a press release.
Boston Beer nets over $1.7 billion in 2020 revenue
Boston Beer Company released their 2020 earnings report, and it serves as a pretty good overview of the pandemic's impact on the beer and alcohol beverage market -- but not its impact on craft beer. In that category, Boston Beer reported net revenue of $1.74 billion, a 38.9% increase from 2019. The company's 2020 winners were Truly, Twisted Tea and Dogfish Head brands, which will remain priorities in 2021.
