[1]Women's March
John,
Texans are facing a catastrophic winter storm emergency right now. 2.5
million people are without power in below-freezing temperatures — forcing
families to sleep in their winter coats indoors, boil tap water, and even
burn their furniture to keep warm out of desperation.
And in the midst of this disaster for Texas women and families, last night
Ted Cruz flew to Cancun for a vacation. See for yourself:

If you did a double take when you saw that picture,
John, you're not alone. It's almost
incomprehensible that a state's own U.S. Senator would completely abandon
his constituents in this time of extreme crisis.
Women's Marchers know that this is NOT okay. Texans need real, urgent
relief from this storm — and they need their leaders to actually lead.
[ [link removed] ]If you can, split a contribution of $10 or more between Feeding Texas,
an organization providing food and support for people in Texas, and
Women's March. Together, we're going to provide immediate relief to those
hit hardest by the storm and organize to kick "Cancun Cruz" out of office
once and for all.

Women's Marchers have been laser-focused on ending Ted Cruz's career since
before this storm, John — this
new development just makes the need to kick him out of office all the more
dire. Together, Women's Marchers have partnered with Boot Texas
Republicans to send nearly 7,000 letters to Cruz's top donors asking them
to cease and desist their support.
Cancun Cruz is failing women and families in every sense. He's failing the
families freezing right now, failing to acknowledge the reality of our
climate crisis, and he's failed to show his loyalty to his constituents as
he sits on vacation in Cancun.
We know how powerful this grassroots team is when we work together — and
we know how much support we'll be able to provide to those hit hardest by
the winter storm in Texas if each of us pitches in whatever we can.
[ [link removed] ]That's why we're asking you to split an urgent donation of $10 or more
between Women's March and Feeding Texas, who is working to provide food,
care, and relief to people in Texas.
Thank you for being a part of this work,
Women's March
