I’ll be honest, John—it’s understandable if you’re feeling frustrated lately.
Working families are hurting in so many ways because of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has now been going on for nearly a year. Millions of people in Texas are without power as record-low temperatures sweep across the country. We’ve been living through what seems like one “once-in-a-lifetime” moment after another.
There are a number of challenges in front of us today, and I can understand the desire to feel a bit hopeless. But please know that I—along with our six Truth to Power candidates—are fighting for you in Congress. And even outside of Washington, I know there are countless people in our communities who are in the fight to continue making our country a better place for one another.
So when I think of all that we’re building towards right now with Truth to Power, I can’t help but also feel hopeful for our future. We’re laying the foundation right now to keep our progress going in 2022, and to continue working towards building a better system for everyone—not just the wealthy.

Unfortunately, corporate PACs and well-funded lobbyists know this, too. Believe me when I say that they’re also doing everything in their power to chart out a plan to keep progressive, working-class candidates out of the Capitol. That’s why I’m calling on you for support.
