Today, after nearly two years since its first passage in the House, the Equality Act has been reintroduced in the U.S. House of Representatives!

This is a critical moment for the future of LGBTQ+ equality. With pro-equality legislators in the majority in both chambers of Congress--and the commitment of the Biden-Harris Administration--the Equality Act is poised to become the law of the land, finally giving nondiscrimination protections to our LGBTQ+ loved ones in employment, housing, education, credit, and public accommodations. 

I’m not going to lie to you -- this is going to be a hard-fought battle, but I believe we can win. 

Here are the two crucial actions to take right now:

1. Contact your Representative and urge them to vote YES to pass the Equality Act. Take a moment to do that, right away, at pflag.org/equalityact.
