When we share a goal, it’s real. So when we emailed earlier saying we needed to reach 25,000 donations before midnight to get us back on track before the FEC deadline, we meant it.

And here’s why:

• The press and our opponents are going to be looking at the numbers we report after this deadline as an indication of the strength of our campaign.


• We are going to use these donations to get on the air and expand our operations in early states — the work we need to do in order to win.
