When we share a goal, it’s real. So when we emailed earlier saying we needed to raise 25,000 donations before midnight to get us back on track before the FEC deadline, we meant it.

And here’s why:

- The press and our opponents are going to be looking at the numbers we report after this deadline as an indication of the strength of our campaign.
- We are going to use these donations to get on the air and expand our operations in early states — the work we need to do in order to win.
- The goal we need to hit for today is within reach. We’re close. Close enough that your donation right now could be the one that gets us back on track.
So we are asking:
