Donald Trump's acquittal has opened the door for him to run for office again, but it's also given the Trump family a clearer look at what might be next, including for his daughter-in-law Lara Trump.

GOP leaders like Senator Lindsey Graham have stated that she would make an excellent replacement for Senator Richard Burr, who was just one of SEVEN Republicans to vote to convict Donald Trump.

On Fox News, Sen. Graham stated, "My friend Richard Burr just made Lara Trump almost the certain nominee for the Senate seat in North Carolina to replace him if she runs."

Lara Trump has proven to be a powerful asset to Trump's fundraising apparatus -- so much so that she had been tapped as a potential candidate for a competitive House race in New York ahead of the 2020 election.
