Join us for our first Systemic Equality action session.

ACLU Supporter –

Trump may be gone, but the legacy of racism that long predates his presidency is still with us.

Since the nation's founding, the fabric of American society has been woven with deeply racist policies, practices, and attitudes that harm Black and Indigenous people of color – and give implicit and explicit advantages to white people because of the color of their skin.

Such deep-rooted and longstanding damages must be addressed – and it's going to require all of us playing an active role to achieve real racial justice.

That's why we're reaching out to you today as one of our dedicated community members and asking you to join us for our Systemic Equality Action Series Kickoff on February 25 at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT – led by our People Power initiative.

This will be the first of many action sessions for our recently-launched Systemic Equality Agenda – a multi-year initiative seeking to address our country's legacy of racism and systemic discrimination, which you can read more about here.

During the event, ACLU experts Jeffery Robinson, Tenicka Boyd, and I will walk you through key policies the agenda focuses on to help overcome our country's legacies of racism and white supremacy – from voting rights to housing to seeking reparations. Then, we'll equip you with concrete ways to take action in the work ahead. RSVP to next Thursday's event.

ACLU Supporter, for the last century, the ACLU has fought for racial justice in the courts and legislatures – while Black-led movements have been leading the fight for dignity and prosperity for much longer. We know dismantling institutional and structural racism in this country is an enduring struggle, but to achieve equal civil liberties for all of us we must remain committed.

Join us in our fight for Systemic Equality: RSVP today.
