Friend, I invite you to take the next step by joining our Reformers Club as a monthly donor. As a Reformer, you’ll help us get even closer to ending the drug war once and for all.
Thanks to supporters like you, we made big waves for drug policy reform in 2020: |
• |
Oregon voters approved Measure 110 to become the first state in the nation to decriminalize the personal use and possession of all drugs while expanding access to treatment and other health services without raising taxes.
|
• |
The U.S. House of Representatives passed the MORE Act, making it the first comprehensive marijuana reform legislation to deschedule marijuana – and the only one centered in reparative justice.
|
• |
DPA advocated for federal policing reforms, such as banning no-knock raids, ending programs that allow militarized policing, and shifting funding for the drug war and law enforcement to community resources and services.
|
Yet, the brutal, racist drug war still overcrowds jails and prisons, permanently brands millions of people as “criminals” and increases drug-related deaths, disease and suffering. It’s time to say “No More Drug War."
Your monthly gift of just $15 will help us build on our momentum and in return you’ll receive a special gift, the NO MORE DRUG WAR tote bag.
