Let me be blunt: This race got a lot harder when the national party put its thumb on the scale. But the voters I’ve met this week alone—in Aurora, Berthoud, Centennial, Denver, Longmont, and Parker—don’t like being told what to do, especially by Washington.
The party bosses and powerbrokers in DC don’t vote in Colorado; they just act that way. We deserve our own say—that means electing a senator who will stand up to the special interests, not do their bidding.
We’re eager to take that case across the state in the months to come. But we won’t be able to do so unless we meet our goal in the next 48 hours.
