I wanted to make sure you heard the news: CNN just broke the details of a despicable exchange between Governor Cuomo and Assemblyman Ron Kim from Queens, in which Cuomo demanded that Kim help “cover-up” the COVID nursing home scandal or Cuomo would “destroy” Kim’s career.

This is an unacceptable and disgusting abuse of power. We can’t stand by while the governor threatens and attacks a sitting assemblymember of his own party. Beyond that, the governor has a say in most decisions that affect New York City, from budget and taxes to emergency aid and overseeing the MTA. How he leads matters. Join me in making sure that Cuomo is held accountable!

This heinous incident comes just days after a leaked conversation revealed that Cuomo had withheld data on COVID deaths in New York’s nursing homes.
