Older baby boomers are relieved by vaccine eligibility — and ready to scramble for appointments
One million Massachusetts residents are now eligible for the COVID-19 immunization after the Baker administration announced it would open appointments for people 65 and over and for those with two or more chronic health problems.
Many in this demographic say they are clearing their Thursday schedule to focus on the long-awaited goal of securing a precious vaccine appointment.
