Polling commissioned by CND shows that 77% of the UK public support a total ban on all nuclear weapons globally, including 71% of Conservative voters and 83% of Labour voters. Almost 60% specifically said they want the government to sign up to the UN's new ban treaty to bring that change about.
But shamefully the government is refusing to even consider this crucial agreement, which has already been signed by 86 countries worldwide. CND is campaigning for the government to take this crucial step towards securing a world without nuclear weapons. Get involved!
