Dear friends,
As you might know, over the coming weeks, Amazon workers in Alabama’s 7th District will be voting on their unionization -- and we want to show them that we’re standing behind them.

Amazon has a long and ugly history of crushing their employees’ efforts to form unions, folks -- but Rep. Sewell knows that every worker has the right to decide whether or not they want to unionize.
On the other hand, the multibillion-dollar company has forced its employees in Bessemer, Alabama to attend anti-union meetings and has plastered discouraging anti-union messages in break rooms and on bathroom stall doors in an effort to squash organizing efforts and intimidate workers.

It’s clearer than ever that workers’ rights are human rights.
At a time when workers need the most assistance, Amazon ended their hazard pay policy, as well as the policy that allowed workers to take unlimited time off without pay. Meanwhile, as CEO, Jeff Bezos made more than 90 billion dollars -- $90,000,000,000 -- last year.
We won’t know the results of the vote for a few weeks, but we want to show these brave organizers that they have a WAVE of support behind them. What do you say? Will you add your name to show your support? [[link removed]]

Thanks for doing the right thing,
