Like many of you, I have been without power for over 48 hours while also dealing with burst pipes and water damage. We know that when temperatures dip again tonight, many of North Texas' most vulnerable will be left in the cold.
Below you can find information for warming shelters all over North Texas. Please pass this information to those you know who may be struggling to keep warm.
Like always, we will get through this storm together. I am deeply grateful for those who have spent this frigid week serving our community. Police officers, volunteers running shelters, churches who have opened their doors to offer food and warmth, and even people who have opened their homes to those without power, have shown us the heart of Texas is still big and and bright even in the darkest days.
