It’s cold outside. One of the coldest weeks on record for Oklahoma.

And all the while, oil and gas workers are working overtime to ensure that our lights stay on and our homes stay warm.

Let’s be clear: This record-cold weather underscores the need for a comprehensive energy plan that embraces the robust oil and gas industry while making room for new and innovative energy solutions that bolster American energy independence.

Oklahoma power effectively balances alternative energy sources with the reliable oil, gas and coal energy and can serve as a model for the nation moving forward.

Yet for all the bluster from the Biden administration and East and West Coast Elite Democrats, it is our friends and neighbors in the oil and gas industry that are keeping the heat and electricity on in our homes and saving lives by keeping us warm.

Power outages, lack of reliability, and shutdown cities is what we have to look forward to if Biden gets his way and pushes through his disastrous ‘Green New Deal’ agenda.
