What a week, folks, and it’s only Wednesday.

I know I must sound like a broken record, but it’s been busy in Washington. Between Donald Trump’s impeachment trial, passing more COVID-19 relief, confirming President Biden’s nominees, and introducing my own bills to raise the minimum wage and repair our broken campaign finance system — it’s a lot to juggle.

Not to mention we have our mid-quarter fundraising deadline tonight and I haven’t even had the chance to look at our numbers yet. According to my finance team, we’ll need a groundswell of support to hit our target by midnight.

As I’m sure you know, my seat is up for re-election next year. We’ve already seen reports that Colorado could be a battleground state as Democrats try to protect our fragile 50-50 majority from Mitch McConnell and his wealthy friends.
