Citizens for Schimpf

Friend --

I am excited to announce that I will be running for Governor of Illinois in 2022.

This announcement is not something that I have spent my lifetime planning. Far from it. Instead, this is a decision I came to over the course of the past year as I watched our state deteriorate.

I’m not a wealthy executive or a career politician. I understand what it’s like to live paycheck to paycheck.  I know what it feels like to wake up in the middle of the night and wonder how my wife and I are going to pay for our children’s education or what yet another increase in our property taxes is going to do to our family budget.

We need a Governor who understands those day-to-day challenges that we all face; a Governor who will live by the same rules that the rest of us follow; and a Governor who will stand up to the entrenched special interest groups that have done so much damage to our state.

Most importantly, we need a Governor we can trust to do the right thing and make the tough decisions with the next generation in mind, not the next campaign.  And we need a Governor who can unite our state.

As I start this campaign, I am going to make a pledge to work hard, tell the truth, and keep my promises. But I am also requesting your help, as well.

The Democrats are already attacking me. They have no response to my message, so they are resorting to personal attacks. The Democrats will be spending a lot of money in this race, but I know I am the best candidate to be the next Governor of Illinois.

Please help me get my message out by contributing $50, $100, or $250 at the link below.

Together, we can renew Illinois!

S/F,

Paul Schimpf

Candidate for Governor of Illinois
