Listen, what we're hearing isn't good.
Now that he’s been acquitted, Trump and his whole team down in Florida are preparing for a triumphant return to politics where the ex-president cements his control over the GOP and exiles everyone who stood up to him.
Even Trump's staunchest opponents are astonished at how much support he's been able to cling to even after years of authoritarian lying and extrajudicial meddling. Says Bill Kristol: “The story from Nov. 3 on has been an astonishing display of loyalty to Trump and the strength of supporters in the party.”
Think long and hard, now -- do you really want to see a reinvigorated Donald Trump crossing the country to name and shame anyone he thinks betrayed him? Riling up his supporters again and causing even more of the chaos we know he's capable of?
