This headline sums up what we’re seeing in communities across the country: women are being gravely affected — losing jobs, being saddled with additional caretaking, and virtual schooling duties — the pandemic has fundamentally disrupted life for so many women.

As systemic dysfunction and inequity have intensified during the pandemic, a disproportionate number of Black and Brown women are affected.

|
That’s why our work is so important. We recruit, train, and support women running for office who are ready to fight for recovery and equity.

Today we’re asking you to invest in Emerge so we can continue working to elect leaders who will protect the women who are often forgotten.

In the years to come, we’ll be dealing with the repercussions of this pandemic, so it’s crucial we have more women who will care for our communities leading us through to the other side.
