audit shows SIF equity ratio at 1.26%; NAFCU expects it to exceed 1.3% soon
The NCUA Tuesday released 2020 audit opinions for its four funds, which all earned
"clean" opinions. Of note, the National Credit Union Share Insurance
Fund (NCUSIF) equity ratio stood at 1.26 percent as of Dec. 31, 2020.
HUD
extends foreclosure ban, issues memo related to Fair Housing Act, discrimination
Following President Joe Biden's directive to the Department of Housing and
Urban Development (HUD) and other federal departments to provide protections to
homeowners and renters amid the coronavirus pandemic, HUD announced it is extending
the Federal Housing Administration's (FHA) foreclosure and eviction moratoriums
and the initial start date of a COVID-19 forbearance through June 30, 2021.
