John, we’re once again going to be very transparent with you:
The last two weeks have been tough for our fundraising. We’re concerned that people will start to disengage politically now that President Biden is in office.
Our mandate to transform the Democratic Party is just as important as ever. Imagine what Congress would be like if there were no ‘Squad’ fighting for each of us every single day. Electing Cori Bush and Jamaal Bowman last year gave our movement so much momentum, but we need the resources to match.
Right now, we’re facing a $36,374 fundraising gap compared to what we had raised at this point in the month of January.
We don’t take a dime from corporate PACs or have billionaire benefactors. We reach our fundraising goals because of grassroots supporters like you.
We operate on a shoe-string budget compared to a lot of other political organizations. So your contributions go a long way when you chip in $5, $15, or even $50 to support our work to recruit the next slate of transformative leaders like Jamaal Bowman and Cori Bush.
Thank you for your support,
Justice Democrats
