John — 43 Senators just told us that it’s okay for an outgoing President to incite violence against another branch of government. 43 Senators made sure justice would not be served for the lives that were lost during the attacks on January 6. Eric led the impeachment charge, working alongside the other House managers to present an indisputable case that Trump incited the attacks and did nothing to quell them.
Eric and the prosecution team painted a case with harrowing images and videos from the fatal insurrection that should have been as clear as day. Trump’s crimes were indefensible. But Republicans are still operating in fear of the party’s far-right faction, and the trial showed just how corrupt to the core they are. We must hold them accountable.
