[1]Women's March
Defeating Trump was only the beginning,
John.
It’s clear that there’s still a lot of work ahead of us to heal our
country and make sure Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ administration ushers
in the transformative change our country urgently needs to move forward.
Especially now, in the new administration’s first 100 days, we have an
opportunity to leverage our grassroots power and shape a progressive
agenda that prioritizes issues including COVID relief, the child care
crisis, wealth inequality, racial justice, and dignity for all women.
A powerful way to get involved in this fight is by forming or joining a
Women2Women Circle in Washington,
John. All across the country,
Women’s Marchers are activating their own networks and connecting with
other Women’s Marchers in their area.

Ever since we started the Women2Women Circles program in fall of 2020,
Women’s Marchers have been coming together in local groups — united in our
determination to defeat Trump and Trumpism — and organizing to build a
country where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and live well.
Hundreds of Circles across the country have been busy doing work like
registering voters, distributing PPE to health care workers, organizing
protests, writing letters to Congress, and meeting with local leaders to
reallocate money from police budgets.
Starting or joining a Circle is easy! Women2Women Circles are coordinated
by individual volunteer leaders who recruit five or more friends and
family to engage with other women in their own communities.
There are thousands of women out there just like you who are worried about
their family or issues happening locally and looking for a place to take
meaningful action. These women are more likely to sign up as activists if
they’re invited by someone they know personally who understands the
circumstances of their lives and the political realities of their home
town or state.
[ [link removed] ]This is how we multiply our power and our impact: Organizing in the
places where we live and with the women closest to us. RSVP now and we’ll
give you everything you need to get started.
During the training, we’ll give you all the resources and tools you need
and give you opportunities to plug in right away.
We hope to see you there!
Kate and the WM Organizing Team
