Hey Khristen!

My name is Khristen and I am the Volunteer Management Director of Zero Hour! I have some amazing news that I am so excited to share with you. Today we are launching our new training program, Zero Hour 101. Zero Hour 101 is a series of training sessions that will teach you how to become better organizers within your communities. These training will go over Zero Hours guiding principles, how to recruit members for organizations, and the intersectional issues of the climate crisis. Throughout the month of March, there will be 8 training sessions on International and National Base Building, White Supremacy and Anti Racism, Artful Activism, the background of Zero Hour, Basic Finance Crowdfunding, and more! The dates are:

1. Zero Hour 101 with Nohemi on March 5th @ 6 pm EST
2. International and National Base Building with Mikaela on March 8th @ 7 pm EST
3. Artful Activism with Isabel on March 12th @ 6 pm EST
4. Online Organizing and Organizing in a Pandemic with me (Khristen!) on March 15th @ 7 pm EST
5. Anti-racism and White Supremacy in Organizing Spaces with Abigail on March 19th @ 7 pm EST
6. Basic Finance and Crowdfunding with Sudarshan on March 22nd @ 8 pm EST
7. Movement Operations and Logistics with Lindy on March 25th @ 7 pm EST
8. Student Activism and Divestment with Nadia on March 29th @ 6 pm EST

These training sessions will provide you with all the information on how to become a better organizer along with valuable information and resources to be successful. This is something you don’t want to miss! If you can not attend live trainings, there will be recordings of the trainings in a drop box drive shared with registrants at the end of the month.
