** “I fear Texas may execute an innocent man.”

Bryce Benjet, Senior Staff Attorney
Texas has scheduled the execution of our client Rodney Reed ([link removed]) for November 20th. On Tuesday, lawyers filed a petition with the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of Reed, who has been on death row since 1998 for the murder of Stacey Stites. The petition challenges the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals’ unexplained rejection of critical evidence of innocence in his conviction for the murder. Show your support for Reed and against his execution by signing this petition ([link removed]) and sharing his case on social media before it's too late.

Kevin Richardson, Exonerated 2002

Antron McCray, Kevin Richardson, Yusef Salaam, Raymond Santana and Korey Wise together have endured the worst of times—arrested and convicted as innocent teens for the infamous Central Park jogger crime of 1989—and the best of times—accompanying film director Ava DuVernay to the 2019 Emmy Awards. The series When They See Us, based on their wrongful conviction, was nominated for 16 Emmys and streamed by millions of people around the world.

We spoke with Richardson ([link removed]) about his role in the production and how it has changed his life and made the relationship with McCray, Salaam, Santana and Wise even stronger.
