Our state just saw
historic voter turnout in the November and January elections. And Democrats won!
So, to no one’s surprise, Georgia GOP members want to make sure that doesn’t happen ever again.
State legislators have proposed a bill that would bar voters from obtaining absentee ballots without an excuse and put a halt to automatic voter registration. That means that unless it’s on their terms, the Georgia GOP
does not want voters to vote the way they want to.
We won’t let the GOP take us backward on voting rights.
That’s why Our American Dreams is committed to electing state and local leaders here in Georgia who will make it easier for more of us to vote safely and securely -- not make it harder to cast a ballot. Can you support our mission with a contribution of any size?

Voter suppression is a real issue that plagues our entire country. For years, the GOP has fought to keep as many people as possible -- especially Black, brown, disabled, and young people -- from exercising their right to vote.
Now, after historic turnout in the 2020 elections despite attempts at disenfranchisement, the GOP is squirming to find a way to bottle voters back up and regain power.
Instead of feeding into these sorts of partisan agendas, we need leaders in our state and local governments who will uphold our democracy and allow every eligible voter to exercise their right to choose their representatives.
