David Perdue is back.
Just over a month after he narrowly lost his Senate seat to Jon Ossoff Georgia, David Perdue filed paperwork to run against Raphael Warnock in 2022.
Perdue raised $100 million in 2020 and lost by just under 55,000 votes. He is a serious, formidable candidate and prolific fundraiser—and we have to be ready if he officially joins the race.
We’ve set up an emergency fund for Raphael’s re-election campaign—and I want to raise $25,000 from our team today to make sure he’s ready for this fight. Can you chip in $25 or more? [[link removed]]
While in the Senate, David Perdue voted repeatedly to gut protections for people with preexisting conditions. He questioned the scientific consensus on climate change. He opposed economic relief for workers. He played down the danger of COVID-19 in public while privately trading stocks to profit off of the pandemic.
We defeated David Perdue once—but it was an expensive, bruising fight. We can do it again if we step up and put in the work now.
Please, make a donation to Raphael Warnock’s re-election campaign today. Your donation will help keep Georgia blue and keep Mitch McConnell from running the Senate. [[link removed]]
Thank you,
Kirsten
