Dear Partners,

The health advocacy community is coming together in support of the American Rescue Act with a new sign on letter ([link removed]) recognizing the immediate opportunity to further COVID-19 relief and response for all of America’s families.

Specifically, we support provisions that:
* Ensure premiums are more affordable for marketplace enrollees and create pathways for unemployed people to access health coverage.
* Extend financial support to people who rely on COBRA for their health insurance.
* Provide funding for COVID-19 vaccination efforts and support access to treatment and vaccination without cost-sharing.
* Provide a financial incentive for states to open up Medicaid to all adults with incomes under 138% of the federal poverty level.
* Invest in Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) for older adults and people with disabilities, and;
* Increase Medicaid drug rebates paid by drug manufacturers.
