I have an important question I need to ask you, John.

Is it too late to save our Constitutional Republic?

You might remember the Monday Message I sent you last week where I talked about the dangerous transformation our beloved country is experiencing.

I have always believed – as did our Founding Fathers – that the United States is not a democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic governed by laws.

Laws that are suggested by the people, debated and refined in our legislatures, scrutinized by our courts, and finally executed by our executives.

Sadly, it seems like that critical process has been thrown out the window. 

It’s no secret that our government executives have leveraged the COVID-19 scare into an opportunity to consolidate power.

Just look at what has happened over the past year.

Powerful government executives like Joe Biden, Gavin Newsom, and Andrew Cuomo – to name a few – took it upon themselves to shut our businesses down, kick us out of our places of worship, lock us indoors, and forced us to wear masks . . .

. . . all with the stroke of their mighty pen.

You see, this is not a new phenomenon – what we are experiencing is something that has happened to great civilizations for centuries.

Powerful executives – whether presidents, chancellors, kings, emperors, etc. – have always found a way to create “emergencies” in order to suspend, supersede, or usurp individual rights.

Just consider the fact that in only the first few weeks of President Biden’s term, he’s issued over 40 executive orders – more than most presidents have throughout their entire terms.

And, the dangerous reality is that if this pattern continues, the United States won’t be a Constitutional Republic for much longer.

The United States will permanently transform into Constitutional Monarchy – governed by small handful of wealthy, powerful executives.

That’s NOT what our Founding Fathers had in mind when they established our magnificent nation.
