Friend, we're getting reports from our centers that the demand for homeless services is spiking, worsened by the freezing winter temps. Can we count on you to make a VOA donation now?
I hope you can spare time to respond before closing this email. Your donated dollars will go right to work to help local families and others get back on their feet. Thank you!

Friend,
It's hard to believe it has been one year since Covid-19 drastically changed every part of life as we know it. I hope you take comfort that as part of our response operation, more relief, services, and hope were mobilized this past year than we ever imagined possible! Thank you for being there when people needed you.
Renew your support. Donate now.
Because of compassionate and dedicated people like you, in just the past few days, thousands of people received help from our Volunteers of America centers and programs across the country. We expect thousands more in the coming weeks, and with the ongoing Covid-19 impacts, more families will be forced to seek help.
This is the kind of compassion that rescued Sean. He was battling homelessness along with an undiagnosed mental health condition. He hit rock bottom and ended up in court, where he first encountered VOA.
Receiving support, housing, and mental health counseling from a VOA specialist gave Sean purpose. He made changes that set him on a new path. He is now a licensed peer specialist giving back to his community and says this about the value and dignity of our homeless neighbors: “There’s hope for them, even if they look hopeless.”
Your gift of $50 or $100 will go far—Even $10, or whatever you can afford, will support men, women and children in crisis in your area, with necessities like safe shelter, meals and counseling.
Can I count on you?
Gratefully, Mike King, President and CEO Volunteers of America
P.S. Friend, you’ve been so generous in the past helping people in crisis. Please make your 2021 donation today. The needs are especially urgent now, during these dangerously cold months.
