Dear Friend, Hello from Jason Brents, Stephen Wollwerth and John Lee, the founders of OneDoor Studios (1DS)!** In acquiring the motion picture rights to the action adventure young adult novel series Calculated, we have become a champion of the National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE). This motion picture accurately depicts the plague of human sex trafficking, promoting part of NCOSE’s mission to ‘end it now.’ Further, we are grateful to donate 25% of our net profits received from this motion picture to NCOSE. How much might our contributions be? A lot, as Calculated is being developed for studio and major international distributor release and its audience and campaign emotional drivers are very similar to The Hunger Games and Divergent franchises. We are also making Calculated available for at least a NCOSE theatrical premiere in Washington DC. Calculated will be distributed by major distributors in North America, China, and the world, with its estimated $45 million production budget guaranteed by a leading bond company and bank financed. However, as part of the branding strategy 1DS is raising its $2 million development through crowdfunding—perhaps the first time for motion picture development funding. To learn more, visit our webpage: www.WeFunder.com/CalculatedMovie. We are grateful to be part of the NCOSE family. We will provide updates as development and production continues and look forward to visiting with you at the NCOSE Calculated premiere! Best, Jason, Stephen, and John OneDoor Studios |
