The government have confirmed the elections are ON and, as Londoners, we will have the opportunity to elect London's first Green Mayor in just over 10 weeks' time.

The Greens have had a run of good polls recently and we look set to have some historic wins in our capital. There's loads you can do to help - and in this email are some of the upcoming ways you can be involved.

Sat 20th Feb 5-7pm Sian's Campaign Rally

Join Sian, Zack and the rest of the London Assembly list and campaign team to launch her election campaign ahead of the elections in May 2021. It's a great way to meet fellow Green Londoners and find out how you can support the campaign.

You'll also hear from our Greater London Assembly Candidates and the Campaign Manager Benali Hamdache about how you can get involved in the campaign and continue the Green Wave which is sweeping across the World.

There'll be dedicated training rooms on how to effectively spread Sian's message on social media and sessions to help Local Parties and activists get ready for the more traditional campaign methods when the lockdown is lifted

Mon 22nd Feb, 7pm - WCL Monthly Meeting - with guest speaker, Caroline Russell

Join us for our monthly meeting. We have a speaker coming along for the start of the meeting at 7pm, Caroline Russell, London Assembly member, local councillor and experienced campaigner. She will be talking briefly about her experience as a local councillor and taking questions. You can also hear the latest on the campaign for London Assembly elections and how you can support this.

Sat 27th Feb, 4.30pm - Being a Councillor: Briefing with Caroline Russell

For those interested in standing for selection in one of our target wards in West Central London, Caroline will also be running a longer 45 minute session about the experience of being a candidate and a councillor. It's a great way to support your local community so come along and hear about what it takes to be our next Green Party elected official. Sign up here.

27th February - 7th March Spring Conference

Finally, registration for the Green Party Spring Conference (1st - 7th March) is now open - details available on the members website. As well as the core business of policy making from 1st March, there will be a variety of learning, networking and socialising opportunities starting from 27th February.

Ticket fees cover all pre-conference and conference days and are as follows:
?40 standard fee, ?25 low waged, ?10 unwaged

There is an access fund for anyone who would struggle to cover the fees
