With my team's end-of-quarter deadline quickly approaching, I want to remind you why I came to Washington: to fight for New Jersey’s working families.

I once was a single father balancing work and family life. It was tough back then. It's impossible now. In Congress, I'm working to uplift the 21st-century single parents who are racing to a job site after dropping their kids off at daycare. The full-time workers still making a measly $7.25 an hour on minimum wage. The families trying to figure out how to pay for expensive prescription drugs.
