Ever since I announced our reelection Founding Donor goal a few days ago, this grassroots team has stepped up in a major way - and thousands of folks like you have joined our movement to keep Georgia blue. We're so close to reaching our goal, and I couldn't be more grateful for your support.

But with time running out before our critical midnight deadline, we're still falling 483 reelection Founding Donors short of our ambitious goal - and I'm counting on you to activate your membership if you haven't already.

Here's why this goal is so important: New reporting from The Washington Post and NBC News shows that national Republicans are zeroing in on me as their top target for defeat in the upcoming midterm elections - because they know that if we lose in Georgia, Democrats lose control of the entire Senate.

I refuse to let that happen. If we want to continue making the progressive change our country so desperately needs, we have to keep the Senate in Democratic hands. And if we want to protect our slim majority, we simply cannot afford to lose Georgia's Senate seat.
