There is a housing crisis in
California and Gavin Newsom has only made the problem worse!
Homelessness is exploding across the state and Californians are leaving
in record numbers because the cost of living here is just too high.
A person only has to take a walk in any major city to be confronted
with the grim reality that too many Californians are suffering on the
streets.

A scroll through social media shows the number of
California residents packing up their moving trucks and leaving for
more affordable states.

Unlike Gavin Newsom, I know how to reduce
homelessness.

As the Mayor of San Diego, I was able to reduce
outdoor homelessness by 12 percent. I did it by bringing a
compassionate and results-oriented approach to our city, and I can do
the same for the entire state as Governor.

There is too much red
tape in our housing industry -- it’s making it nearly impossible for
hardworking families to afford a decent home.
