PSC Public Hearing

I know there was a lot of interest from the group in supporting solar (especially third party solar) and in engaging with the PSC, so I wanted to share an opportunity to do both.
This Wednesday at 2pm the PSC is holding a public hearing on third party solar, and it would be great if lots of us showed up in support of it. I'll be joining, and if you'd like a reminder or want to ask questions day-of, please add your name to this RSVP list ([link removed]) .

Presidential Town Hall Tuesday
A rally is planned for President Biden's Town Hall on Tuesday, February 16 outside the Pabst Theatre across from Milwaukee City Hall ([link removed]) . The rally is planned for 6:30pm.
The focus of many 350 chapters is Stop Line 3 ([link removed]) . There are climate activists coming to Milwaukee to protest Line 3 and they expect to be across from the Pabst with signs. Bring your own signs if you like.
Masks required. We can’t guarantee 6 feet social distancing, but it probably won’t be a big crowd with the bitter cold weather.

Many other groups* are planning to join the rally and present the People's Agenda which includes:
* Ending the Wars and Sanctions, no interventions, abolish nuclear weapons
* Relief for the People - $2000 relief checks and money for low-income people, stop evictions/rent control, $15/hr. minimum wage now
* Defend Native Sovereignty - honor Treaty Rights and no oil pipelines on Native lands
* Black Lives Matter/End White Supremacy, Abolish ICE and stop the Deportations
* End Police Crimes, the 1033 Militarization Program, and excess police budgets
* End Citizens United - get the money out of politics
* Implement the Green New Deal jobs program and renewable energy conversion from fossil fuels
