Nancy Pelosi said that this country needs a strong Republican Party. By refusing to convict Donald Trump for inciting an insurrection, all hope of that possibility is long gone. Even Mitch McConnell gave a speech that sounded word-for-word like the House Impeachment Managers' case against Trump: that he provoked the mob with lies, invited them to the Capitol, and then sat back and did virtually nothing as they sacked our most sacred government buildings. And even as he admitted those facts, he was still too scared of Donald Trump and his own dwindling political fortunes to do the right thing.

Nationwide, Republicans have bent the knee and given over their party to Trump and his band of Seditionists, who will stop at nothing to shake our fragile democracy to its core if it means they can retain power. We experienced this first hand in Georgia, where Trump tried to force election officials to "find the 11,870 votes" they needed to win the state and where even now Republican state lawmakers are trying to enforce voter suppression laws so they can cheat their way to victory in 2022.

But team, we have proven that despite their attempts to silence us, our multicultural, multiracial movement is the future. Right now, civil rights and election law attorneys are fighting tooth and nail to stop the Seditionists at every turn, and the team at the Georgia Blue Project are preparing for the battle that lies ahead in 2022. We must rid Georgia of the Seditious Six — the six Georgia congresspersons, led my Marjorie Taylor-Greene, who worked with Trump to try and subvert the will of the people — but frankly, we need your help to do it.

Right now the Seditious Six are filling their war chests to not only defend their seats but help other Georgia ReTrumplicans get elected across the state. To fend them off while also challenging the Six will take a massive amount of funds — about $2 million to be exact. It is a big goal that meets possibly a bigger election season than 2020.
