Team -- Today is President’s Day, a day we set aside to honor the presidents who have guided our nation through times of both darkness and prosperity. Looking back on our history, I am grateful for the leadership of inspiring presidents who honored their duty to the American people and helped us overcome great challenges. Sadly, former President Donald Trump stood in sharp contrast to many of his predecessors. He sparked hatred and division, brought shame to the office of the Presidency, and undermined our very democracy. That’s why it’s been so refreshing to have a President who is committed to working for the American people. This President’s Day, we’re thrilled to honor our 46th Commander in Chief, President Joe Biden. From Day One, it’s been clear that President Biden puts the American people first. His agenda is our agenda, team. NewDems are focused on ending the pandemic, creating jobs, fixing our crumbling infrastructure, acting on climate change, and so much more -- and we’re proud to have such a committed partner in the White House as we focus on these priorities.
