On this President's Day, I am reminded of the brave leaders who have guided our nation through brilliant accomplishments and challenging moments. While addressing the myriad of difficult circumstances over this past year, it is important to reaffirm ourselves to uphold the values that so many Presidents have exemplified. 

The American story is the story of adversity, of challenges faced and obstacles overcome, of working together to find a path forward when times are tough. I will always push to find solutions to the issues we are facing today until we all have opportunities for good-paying jobs, access to affordable healthcare, and the respect and dignity that each of us deserves.  

So today, let’s reaffirm our nation's commitment to democracy and creating a brighter future for everyone.
