I am outraged that last month the San Francisco School Board voted 6-1 to remove historic American names such as George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Paul Revere from 44 schools.

While it is important to discuss our country's past challenges, the radical Left's cancel culture is a dangerous movement that does nothing but further divide us. I want my children and our future generations to grow up learning the exceptional history of America - this should be unifying!

Our Founders did something incredible. They fought for liberty and established a set of values that allow us to create a more perfect union.

What did Joe Biden do on his first day in office? He cancelled the 1776 Commission, which brought together scholars to study the principles and fundamental truths that shaped America. This irresponsible decision proves that the woke Left will stop at nothing to ruin our country's remarkable history, and I won't stand for it.

I don't know about you, but I am proud to be an American. That's why I have introduced the Preserve American History Act, to ensure the principles the United States was founded on are guarded and taught in our schools. I will not lower my voice when it comes to protecting the very foundation the greatest country in the world was formed on.
