Let them vote!

Mad about what is happening to our democracy? Then help us to support on democracy. Take action to enfranchise more voters!

Our voter data shows that since 2016, there are about 41,000 New Jersey voters who would qualify to vote yearly in the Primary Elections if this bill— "New Voter Empowerment Act" S587 which allows 17 year olds to vote in the Primary Elections if 18 prior to the General Election — was passed into law. It is stuck in the Senate and we need to get more bill co-sponsors to help move it. How many other states allow their 17 year olds to vote in the Primaries? 26 states!

Here are the current bill Sponsors and Co-Sponsors. We do not need to reach these state Senators:

Beach, James as Primary Sponsor
Cruz-Perez, Nilsa I. as Primary Sponsor
Turner, Shirley K. as Co-Sponsor
Gill, Nia H., Esq. as Co-Sponsor
Ruiz, M. Teresa as Co-Sponsor
Greenstein, Linda R. as Co-Sponsor
Weinberg, Loretta as Co-Sponsor

(NOTE: none of the bill sponsors and co-sponsors are on the list of contacts. So, this action will not work if you are a constituent of one of them as it will come up blank.)

Bar graph indicating that 40,000 young voters could voter yearly.

To be effective, we are no longer sending the same old-same old automated letters. Please spend 5 minutes to put key points in your own words. Key point are provided to you. To view and take this action, please click on the link below.
